Welcome to Halfmoon General, your go-to coastal stop since 1937.

We’ve kept the heart of this place beating while giving it a little glow-up — a cozy blend of modern nostalgia made for today’s Sunshine Coast locals and travellers alike.

Inside, you’ll find all the good stuff: a thoughtfully stocked grocery store, a welcoming little café with a charming patio (ocean views included), and a liquor store filled with local craft picks and a solid selection of spirits for every kind of toast.

Stop by, say hi! You’re always welcome at Halfmoon General.

Previously known as Beasley’s Store, Halfmoon Trading Post, and B & J Store, the Halfmoon Bay General Store — now called Halfmoon General — has been a beloved part of the Halfmoon Bay community for over 85 years.

What began in 1937 as a small general store has grown into a cherished gathering place for locals and travellers alike — and now, after years of rebuilding, we’re thrilled to welcome you back.

We have a pretty neat history.
